Bergbreiter wins Clark School MRI award

Assistant Professor Sarah Bergbreiter (ME/ISR) and her research team have been selected as one of three winners of the A. James Clark School of Engineering’s Major Research Instrumentation Award (MRI).

Bergbreiter’s proposal for building a robotics realization lab met the Clark School’s MRI program criteria of supporting a strategic area of the college, involving an interdisciplinary group of faculty researchers, and being cost effective.

The new lab will be a much-welcomed addition to the capabilities of the college and the Maryland Robotics Center.
